Lijing brings in her multicultural experience to our business and immigration practice. She first became interested in business immigration following her work for a national immigration law firm at its downtown Toronto office, where she was part of the global practice team assisting multinational corporate clients with business visitor applications.

Lijing’s practice primarily focuses on business immigration, with in-depth knowledge and experience in different categories of work permit applications under the Temporary Foreign Worker Program and International Mobility Program. She works closely with clients to provide strategic legal advice and assistance to fulfill their workforce mobility and labour shortage needs.

Prior to joining Sobirovs Law Firm, Lijing worked at a boutique corporate immigration law firm in Toronto, where she focused on a variety of immigration matters including work permits, labour market impact assessments, temporary resident visas, rehabilitation, temporary resident permits, permanent residence and citizenship.

With full proficiency in Mandarin and Cantonese, Lijing is the point of contact for the firm’s China practice. In her spare time, Lijing enjoys reading, hiking and kayaking.
