As part of the Sobirovs team, you will enjoy a stimulating and rewarding environment. You will work with people who want to impact Canada’s future. From new hires to experienced professionals, everyone at Sobirovs enjoys a balanced and supportive work environment. We encourage our team members to follow their passions through our work. We provide guidance, support, and opportunities for you to succeed professionally and develop personally.

The activities that we enjoy doing together reflect our unique culture:

  • We fund your professional development. Each team member has a yearly professional development allowance to upgrade their skills and learn new skills.
  • We offer regular training for our team—yes, we mean it! You will learn how to be an excellent professional in the immigration field and how to build and run unique businesses in Canada. For example, our training includes Blue Ocean and Black Hole Strategies, Value Proposition & Value Curves, Lean Startup, and Pumpkin Plans
  • We decide together. We rely on our team to help us grow together. Each quarter, our team comes together to review the lessons of the past quarter and brainstorm solutions. Our team contributes significantly to and shapes our business and growth strategy. We make important decisions by voting.
  • We are avid readers and maintain a great library at our office. Every month, we add around ten new books to our library. Every member of the team is encouraged to read books on personal development. Our library includes “Compound Effect,” “Atomic Habits,” “Full Focus, Pumpkin Plan,” “Mindset,” “Emotional Intelligence,” “Never Split the Difference,” “Thinking Fast and Slow,” “Almanac of Naval Ravikant,” “Influence,” “Platform Delusion,” “The Compleat Strategyst” and many many more.
  • Charity. We believe in giving back to the community and supporting the disadvantaged groups in the world. Every quarter, we distribute 3% to 5% of our net profits for charitable causes. Our team members decide which charity organization to support each quarter, and we distribute funds accordingly. In the past, we supported the visually impaired communities in Vietnam, orphanages in Afghanistan, and girls’ schools in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. We are committed to continuing to donate part of our profits to support disadvantaged communities.

Compensation

We value our employees and strive to offer our team members balanced compensation packages above market averages. Our compensation package includes the following:

  • Exclusive profit-sharing schemes: in addition to their base salary, our employees receive a percentage of the firm’s net revenues every quarter to stay entrepreneurial and creative in their work. We strive to create economic prosperity for every member of our team.
  • Time off for recharging: we close our office from December 23 to January 3 each year to allow our team to take time off and celebrate the holiday season with their families. We also offer one day off each month (in addition to vacation time) to attend to personal matters or relax and recharge.

Rakhmad Sobirov (Co-Founder, Managing Lawyer)

It is a great privilege to work with a team of professionals who are genuinely interested in helping our clients from different countries. We are interested in bringing the best and the brightest from those countries to Canada!

My teammates have experienced the challenges of being immigrants and bringing their families to Canada. They understand different cultures, speak foreign languages, and connect with clients on different levels. Our team’s features make us unique and allow us to be more client-centred and empathetic. I don’t hesitate to take on the most challenging immigration cases when I have such a focused and dedicated team! We always welcome those ready to join us and help future Canadians!

What should future employees know before joining our team?

It would be best if you realized that potential immigrants come to us seeking honesty, transparency, and genuine help in their immigration matters. Honesty requires that we explain all the strengths and weaknesses of their case. Transparency requires we use our best judgment to pursue the client’s best interests. Genuine help requires constantly improving ourselves as professionals to provide the best legal representation for our clients.

Feruza Djamalova (Co-Founder, Business Immigration Lawyer)

I love my job because it pushes me to grow constantly. I am on this journey of becoming a better professional, a better employer, a better mother, and a better human being. I always learn new things, experiment with new ideas, and interact with amazing people and businesses. I get great joy from helping my team members to find their strength and unleash their potential. It is gratifying to see how much growth we can jointly achieve in just one year. Working here doesn’t feel like a job; it is just a creative and fun way to learn and grow. I am grateful for this opportunity and for having excellent and supportive colleagues who help me grow and improve every day.

What should future employees know before joining our team?

Future employees should know that they have to embrace learning, think creatively and get used to the idea that their main boss is always the client. We are a very client-centred law firm, and our team members will be trained to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
