Sobirovs Law Firm Establishes Entrance Scholarship for uOttawa Law School Students.

Sobirovs Law Firm is excited to introduce the Sobirovs Law Firm Entrance Scholarship. This scholarship is meant to support international graduate students from Central Asia who have been accepted into the LLM program at the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law, Common Law Section.

The scholarship, generously contributed by Rakhmad Sobirov and Sobirovs Law Firm, offers financial assistance to individuals from Central Asia. Its goal is to enable these students to pursue studies in Canada and later utilize their knowledge to fortify democratic structures and the rule of law in their home region.

Purpose of the Fund

The scholarship is intended to support international graduate students and citizens from Central Asia who are admitted full-time to the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, LLM program.

Eligibility Criteria

Recipients of the Sobirovs Law Firm Entrance Scholarship must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an international student.
  • Have graduated from a postsecondary institution in Central Asia with a degree in law.
  • Be admitted as a full-time graduate student in the LLM program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, of the University of Ottawa.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement.

Application Procedure

No application is required. This scholarship is awarded automatically to eligible students.

Rakhmad Sobirov, the co-founder and managing lawyer of Sobirovs Law Firm, stated,
