Jearaldine recently joined Sobirovs Law Firm as an Executive Assistant. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Postgraduate Certificate in International Business Management. Before joining the firm, Jearaldine has over 7 years of experience in various office administration tasks. Her primary focus is finding meaning in her work, and a purpose-filled life.

As an immigrant from the Philippines, she decided to start her life in Canada for better opportunities. For Jearaldine, a career doesn’t have to be a straight line. One of the biggest mistakes people make in their careers is to treat work primarily as a means to an end. Whether that end is money, power, or prestige, this instrumentalization of work leads to unhappiness. The work won’t give joy and fulfillment every day. There are some days that it will feel pretty unsatisfying. She believes that with the right goals – earning success and serving others – she can make the work itself her reward.

In her free time, Jearaldine enjoys going to the gym, cooking, and reading.
