Yulia Kan

Team Lead, Corporate Immigration and Permanent Residence

Biography Practice Areas Education Memberships

Biography

Yulia’s immigration journey to Canada inspired her career choice – she came here as a student to obtain her bachelor’s degree. She progressed the immigration ladder by obtaining a post-graduate work permit, permanent residence, and citizenship.

She faced three refusals along the way but was able to get everything straightened out with the help of an immigration professional. Her advice to clients is to seek assistance in times of doubt, as it can save a significant amount of time and money.

To date, Yulia has worked in various immigration firms, obtaining a wealth of experience in a wide variety of immigration programs. Currently, she specializes in corporate immigration, bringing top talent to fill existing labour gaps in Canada.

She believes that a country’s immigration trends tend to accurately reflect in-demand professions and fast-growing industries. With the help of existing immigration programs, Yulia seamlessly assists employers in bringing skilled workers to Canada from anywhere in the world.

Yulia believes that there is a significant social and economic benefit associated with hiring foreign talent, as it leads to the transfer of skills and knowledge that may not be as prominent within the Canadian labour market.

As a licensed immigration consultant (RCIC R707601), Yulia’s work ethic can be described as effective, efficient, and empathetic above all else. She aims to ensure her clients are at ease, knowing that their immigration cases will be well taken care of.

In her free time, Yulia enjoys quiet walks on nature trails, trying new restaurants and cocktail bars around Toronto, and going salsa dancing. She is fluent in Russian and Korean.
